Brazilian Butt Lift
Buttock augmentation surgery, sometimes referred to as a Brazilian Butt Lift, is fast becoming one of the more popular cosmetic procedures in the world. For patients who feel that their buttocks are too small or out of proportion to the rest of their body, who desire a curvier silhouette, or for those whose buttocks are loose and sagging due to weight loss or age, buttock augmentation surgery could be an ideal solution.
During your surgery, Dr. Fisher liposuctions fat from another area of your body, typically either your abdomen or outer thighs. The fat is then purified and re-injected into your buttock area in a technique known as fat grafting. In some cases, she may also need to add an implant in order to achieve your ideal results. All of these options will be discussed with you in detail during your initial consultation.
Buttock augmentation surgery is performed as an outpatient surgery so you can go home the same day. You will need to wear a support garment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for two to four weeks depending on whether or not an implant is used. You can expect some soreness and tightening in the buttock area at first, but this should subside within a week.
