Dr Haley Bunting is very knowledgeable, kind, and does outstanding work. If I could give infinity stars for Dr. Dumestre and her staff, I would. I felt like I hit the lottery when I found her. After being diagnosed with breast cancer a second time, I needed something positive for sure. I needed to feel confident that after losing both my breasts I was going to get them back. Finding a surgeon who is not only at the top of their profession, but who also has an incredible bedside manner is so rare. Dr. Dumestre is all that and more. At my first visit with Dr. Dumestre, she took the time to go over everything in great detail and answer all my questions. Her knowledge and experience was incredible. I knew I would literally be in good hands. When it came time for surgery, her skills were beyond comprehension. My breasts are killer. Her Physician Assistant, Santina Mastoris is in a class of her own. In other words, phenomenal. The patient experience is like nothing else. It was stellar from start to finish. The staff are so warm, friendly and extremely supportive and caring.
I’m a year out from my ‘mommy makeover’ and I’m so happy I found this practice and Dr. Dumestre! The Austin Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery clinic is gorgeous and always smells so nice, feeling more like a spa than a Dr’s office. The staff are so professional and friendly, and I love her PA Santina. Most importantly, my results are perfect!! Dr. Dumestre carefully listened to my goals, and had me share goal photos so she could make sure she created my ideal breast size - I love them! My tummy also looks so good and I’m wearing crop tops again after spending years hiding my belly. I was so scared going into such a big surgery, but couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from consult, to the actual surgery day, to the follow up care! My journey with breast reconstruction has about come to an end. I called here around a year ago now, full of tears, fear and lost hope. Speaking with Courtney over the phone I immediately felt like there might be hope for me. I had to finish recovering from failed previous reconstruction before I could come in but she assured me they could help me. This entire office has been absolutely amazing. PA Santina arrived midway through my journey and has been a great asset as well. Dr Dumestre took me on and repaired what I thought might be a hopeless case. From my first consultation, surgery itself, to the follow ups, they’ve remained compassionate and shown such care and kindness. I can’t recommend this office enough!

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mom who doesn't speak English. Dr Dumestre and her nurses are absolutely amazing and professional. Dr Dumeste has performed breast implant reconstruction after bilateral mastectomy on my mom who is a cancer patient. We are so incredibly happy with the results. Dr Dumestre and her staff have the best bedside manner- she is so caring and soft spoken and in tune with every need. She took time to explain in great detail every step of the surgery and recovery process, offered a few options and recomendations based on my mom's situation. The aftercare post the surgery is what really impressed my mom and me. My mom had a rough recovery journey (infection, radiation treatment). Dr Dumestre saw my mom on several occasions in the hospital and in her office until she was sure my mom was completely healed and her staff always returned phone calls/messages when we had concerns. We would not go to another doctor. Dr Dumestre gave my mom her confidence back and made her feel and look beautiful again. Thank you for everything.
Dr. Dumestre and her staff provided the highest quality care I could imagine. They were prompt, gracious, extremely professional, and granted me all the information and time I needed to make solid, informed decisions about my own healthcare. Dr. Dumestre performed an extremely complicated diep flap double mastectomy due to breast cancer, and the results have been amazing. I suffered almost no pain due to surgery, and all feeling has returned. Another healthcare professional I saw after surgery said they had never seen a cleaner, more issue-free result of this type of surgery. I definitely will return to Dr. Dumestre for any future care, and would highly recommend her to others.
Dr. Dumestre is beyond amazing. I was recommended to her by an oncologist that I worked with. I am a registered nurse, retired with an oncology background. I’ve gone through two surgical procedures with Dr. Dumestre and I can’t recommend her and her staff enough. They provide such a welcoming and comfortable environment as soon as you walk in the door. Words cannot describe the care I received from Dr Ehanire. Breast cancer is such a scary journey. From the first visit she was so supportive and caring. For the best part my reconstruction/reduction was an added bonus. I feel so confident and beautiful. Her work is hands down the best! So happy with the outcome. I am so happy I went to see Africa for my nipple tattoos. I was a little nervous to go in, but Africa calmed my nerves immediately. She is so easy to communicate with. She is very professional, but it was like talking to a friend. She took time to talk to me about what I wanted in size and color. I don’t have an artistic eye, but she does. She added the colors to make combination specifically to complement my skin tones. She tested the color until it was perfect. The result is amazing. The nipple tattoo is extremely realistic. I had to touch it because the shading is amazing. My eyes were convinced there was projection. This tattoo gave me so much confidence. I still look in the mirror and I am amazed a tattoo can look so real. If you need a nipple tattoo, make sure you ask for Africa. I promise you will be happy you did.
Amazing team. Dr Fisher is passionate and caring and really wants the best for her patients. Her work is her art and she is the absolute best in the area. Coming from a cancer patient, this office and Dr Fisher come highly recommended and I wouldn't go anywhere else or trust anyone else to do my reconstruction.
Oh my god. Where do I even start. Christine fischer and her team are quite possibly the most diligent, intelligent, kind, and generous doctors I’ve ever met with. The practice is stunning and everyone is super helpful. I am so happy with my results and the experience I had with christine. I would 20/10 recommended this practice to ANYONE. They are ready to work with you and your own personalized needs. Couldn’t have gotten better results anywhere else!

Living in San Antonio, my wife needed some complex reconstructive surgery. After a thorough search throughout the State of Texas, we chose Dr. Fisher in Austin to see my wife thru this event. We couldn’t be more pleased! From the very start Dr Fisher and her team lead us up to the surgery with care and compassion. All of our questions and concerns were addressed giving us confidence to move forward. On the day of the surgery Dr Fisher’s team, especially the attending nurse, saw my wife thru pre-op making her feel as comfortable as possible. Likewise, after the surgery the attention given my wife was nothing less than outstanding. Seeing it thru to the end, there were several follow-ups with Dr Fisher and her team and all went very well. Most importantly, my wife is completely happy with the results of the surgery! Dr Fisher’s work is truly superior! My wife and I are so pleased that we chose Dr Fisher for this procedure, and would highly recommend her and her team to others.
One of the best things that I have ever done was reaching out to Dr. Fisher’s office about scheduling a consultation. Her team has been nothing but friendly and genuine in the entirety of my time in and out of her office, and Dr. Fisher herself made me feel like I was welcome and valid through every step. She took my concerns about being able to breastfeed in the future seriously and did everything in her power to make sure that I would be able to do just that, which is really the only thing that I could have asked for. Pre-surgery I was getting migraines on a near-daily basis because of the weight pulling on my neck & spine and now I am happy to report that I am down to maybe one or two a month, all because my health was taken into consideration and I have nothing but wholehearted thanks for Dr. Fisher and her team.
